This week was a crazy week for me emotionally. Transitions for me are hard on a good day, but add in a pandemic and lookout. So there has been a shortage of posts lately, but today I thought I would share with you my guilty pleasures that are keeping me sane these days.
To Watch
Sweet Magnolia’s on Netflix. It’s a fun binge-worthy show about life and friendship. It is the perfect show if you love shows like Gilmore Girls and Hart of Dixie. (Both of those are good to binge as well)
Top Chef LA – All-Stars – It is getting towards the end but you still have time to catch up. The kids and I stay up til 10 every Thursday night to watch it live! We look forward to it all week.
To Read
I just started Camino Island by John Grisham. It’s different than his legal thrillers, but it is a page-turner that will keep you hooked. It also gives insight into the world of writers, which is so interesting.
Untamed By Glennon Doyle. I have not read this yet, but all my friends can’t stop talking about it, and I loved her interview with Dax Shepard. I also love how honest and open she is, especially during this crazy time. It’s definitely next up on my list.
For those obsessed with the office (like me)
I know we are not the only people rewatching all the episodes of the office. In the past few weeks, there were some mini-reunions. I am sure by now you have seen the episode of SGN where the whole cast does the dance from Pam and Jim’s wedding. If you haven’t – well what are you waiting for!  Also last week on The Office Ladies podcast John Krasinsky was their guest and it was so fun to hear them go down memory lane. They break down the Casino Night Episode, which fun fact Steve Carrell wrote. It’s perfect to listen to on a long walk.
Have a good Memorial Day and stay safe!
