I am excited to finally share what has been keeping me busy and away from my blog for so long. We got to Vermont at the beginning of June and I was tasked with sprucing up my in-law’s cottage at the lake. My mother in law is no longer spending the summer here, so instead of having two families in one house like usual we are spreading out. Which has been great this year due to Covid.
The houses at the lake are camps. They are not winterized, and each has its own unique charm. Like the one we are in you can roll a ball from one end to the other. I am not trying to conquer that problem, but instead, just freshen it up a bit.
before and after pictures
I painted the closets with Headspace from the Clare Paint Company, and painted the floor in Morris Room Gray from Sherwin Williams.
I love the pop of fun that the curtains from Anthropologie add. The sheets and blanket are from Garnet Hill, and I am in love with my mattress from Nectar.
I also spray painted some lamps I had at home and went shopping in my basement for side tables and Pierre Deux lampshades. The rugs were already in the room and match perfectly.
You can also find the resources in my post with the inspiration board for this room.
I have ordered some Mixtiles of pictures for summers past to hang on the walls. I will share that with you when I get them.
I can’t wait to share more of my progress with you! Stay tuned.
Love it! So much brighter and happier. Amazing!
I am thrilled you are back! Can’t wait to see what you are up to!
LYM,
Mom
